Our History
Chosen to Restore Dignity and Hope. The Residential and Home Care program began as an expansion of VOHF's mission to serve orphaned, abandoned, and neglected children beyond educational support.
In 2007, the acquisition of property led to the establishment of the Rose of Sharon (ROS) House of Friendship in Laguna. There, children receive not only food, shelter, and education, but also healthcare, discipleship, and spiritual formation. We believe every child deserves holistic care - physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual - and that restoration must touch the whole person.
Today, we are also preparing our youth for independent living, equipping them with life skills and Christ-centered values for the future.
Program Highlights
Skills Development
Developing skills and talents through worship activities such as choir and Salinlahi dancers, alongside elective and afterschool programs including gardening, crochet, arts, and dishwashing liquid making.
Spiritual and Values Formation
Guiding children and youth toward spiritual growth, strong values, good character, and ethical leadership.
Community Engagement
Strengthening community engagement through partnerships with organizations and local churches in providing collaborative programs and activities for children and youth.
Health and Wellness
The Health & Wellness program provides medical outreach, feeding programs, and integrated health services for community partners and the broader community.
It also offers online consultations, health lectures, and support for families and individuals in need.

Program Highlights
Integrated Health Services
Serving families with compassion through community-based Paglingap Clinic (stationary and mobile) in areas where CCT Ministries operate.
Health Education
Empowering and equipping CSLs and communities to deliver health services by providing relevant training that enables them to serve better.
Supplemental Feeding
Providing supplemental meals to undernourished children.
Disaster Risk Reduction & Management (DRRM)
Through coordinated efforts with CCT Ministries, the foundation mobilized volunteers and CSLs to deliver relief goods, conduct medical missions, and provide spiritual care to affected communities.
Beyond immediate response, rehabilitation initiatives included rebuilding homes and restoring livelihoods. These experiences established a framework for organized disaster response, integrating relief, recovery, and community resilience into the foundation's ongoing work.

Community Servant Leadership Development
Through the Community Servant Leadership Development Program, Community Servant Leaders (CSLs) - community partners who serve as volunteers in their own neighborhoods - were mobilized, trained, and empowered to deliver the social services of the CCT Group while advocating for servant leadership and good local governance.
As trusted leaders within their communities, they are uniquely positioned to drive transformation at the grassroots level.
CSLs take on vital roles in health education, discipleship, counseling, and community engagement, becoming frontliners not only in spiritual development but also in responding to health needs and emergencies.
Over time, they have grown into key partners in program implementation, embodying servant leadership and strengthening the foundation's impact within communities.
